Something Else Gallery Alice Hutchins exhibition invitation.

New York: Something Else Gallery, 1968.

Single Sheet.

8 1/2" x 11".

Very good.

Two horizontal creased lines.  Faint creasing at edges.

A scarce piece of ephemera from Dick Higgins' little known Something Else Gallery, which was in operation from 1966-1969.  The design is a naive largely lower-case "handwritten" invitation to the premiere presentation of Alice Hutchins at the Something Else Gallery on the 14th of February the day of St. Valentin. Written in French and printed on pink paper, the back features a photograph  of one of Hutchins' sculptures as well as a return address to the Something Else Press.

Alice Hutchins was a painter and sculptor associated with Fluxus.
