Both pieces are hand-blown and have a pontil mark on underside. Both pieces are crafted from thick glass and are substantial. Both feature deep red (ruby hue) colored glass, that has a unique texture due to the presence of numerous small bubbles or "seeds" within the glass. These bubbles are introduced during the manufacturing process, giving the glass a distinct, visually appealing look. The "Iris" in the name typically refers to the maker, Artland, a company known for creating handcrafted glassware with this distinctive feature.
The goblet is 8 1/4" tall and 4 3/8" wide. The pitcher is 9 1/2" tall with a 5 1/2" rim. Clear glass handle.
