Antique Diving Helmet Display Stand - Custom Made!
A few years ago we found that it was very difficult to find a proper display stand for antique diving helmets, especially deep sea helmets like the US Navy Mark V, Royal Navy Siebe Gorman and commercial types of helmets made by A.J. Morse, A. Schrader’s & Son and DESCO. After lots of requests from customers to provide a display stand that not only supports the helmet, but will consistently display multiple helmets the same way every time, we came up with the Steelhead!
In addition to the Steelhead, we recently decided to offer another helmet stand. This helmet stand has the same quality, durability, small footprint. However, it has a different look and gives you another option. We have decided to name this helmet stand the Bullhead.
These stands are made with a solid steel base frame and rebar that is welded together. Getting that rebar bend into the correct angle is a huge job! The steel is then powder coated with a very attractive color called copper vein. The powder coat makes the paint incredibly strong plus easy to clean! The curved part where the helmet sits features thick rope, which will prevent metal on metal contact with the stand and helmet and it gives the stand a unique look. Bolts with rubber tips are adjustable to prevent the sliding or rocking of the helmet while on display. On the underside of the stand are rubber feet to prevent sliding and protect the surface it's sitting on.
Nation's Attic Inc. is the manufacturer of the Bullhead stand and the only source for them in the world right now. These super high quality stands will last more than a lifetime and are what we trust all our valuable helmets with!
