Here we have a BMW R100RT first registered in 1980. This model is becoming sought after and is now being regarded as an appreciating classic. The bike has a very low mileage for its age with only 24998 miles on the clock and has a current MOT up until 5th August 2017, there are some old MOT certificates from 1988 - 2000. The bike is complete and in working order and is supplied with BMW panniers and still has the original owners handbook, tool roll and even first aid kit! The current owner has made a couple of modifications, fitting a battery master switch under the seat and attaching a wire to allow the headlight to be disconnected before starting which stops bulbs from blowing, this was an issue on some models. Other than these mods the bike is in original spec and is in good condition for a 36 year old model. The bike could benefit from some time being spent to bring it back up to top condition.
